On Monday my girly Cheryl and her boys visited us from NY. We went pumpkin picking first, then on a hike in McLean Game Refuge. I had hoped for a chilly day since I made mac and cheese and butternut squash soup, but we enjoyed the nice weather and comfort food anyway. Fresh cider and donuts added to the festivity.
If it had been cooler, I could have worn my new mitts from Chrissie. Aren’t they pretty?
How lovely.
The mitts are nice, too. ;^)
It looks like it was a wonderful hike. The photo is lovely.
Cute mitts too!
Nice mitts–Those cool fall days are just around the corner! I am sure you’ll be able to use them soon.
Love the mitts! :0)
Lovely scenery! I have a butternut squash in the fridge right now for the same soup 😉 Yum!
Aw, you’re making me miss the northeast! Lovely photos, nice mitts too.
At first I looked annd thought, oh no, it can’t be true. I know Bev is faithful and wouldn’t step out on me. But then I glanced back. (Just like the wife of lot.) Could Bev actually be letting another girl knit for her? And fingerliss mitts? How could you Bev? I thought I was your pink knitting girl! =)
