Are you in?
Are you busy with your embroidery thread?
Take a look at the original post about the great Friendship Bracelet Swap of 2011. I’ve updated the amount of postage ($1.71) you should put on your SASE.
Still deciding on a pattern? Β Here are some great tutorials:
Petals and Sunshine has a cute wrapped bracelet tutorial

if you search “friendship bracelets” on YouTube, you’ll get more tutorials than you can shake your embroidery floss at!
Remember, bracelets need to arrive by Monday, July 18th!
Feel free to share links to anything friendship bracelet related in the comments or over at the Flickr group.
ETA: Purl Bee just got in on the action!

Still so in. Mine are simple bracelets – but I only have 2 more to go before I can ship! Excited to see what comes back!
i am working on my second bracelet right now! i got a little side tracked and made several for friends in between π i chose the simple chevron pattern- i think it really highlights the colors best (and allows for the least amount of distractions!)
Ooh, still in, but thanks for the reminder! Where should I go to get embroidery thread?
Any craft store will have embroidery thread. You might also try Chris’s Collection in Southwick: http://find.mapmuse.com/details/stitch-shops/264157478
I haven’t had time to even think about it and now I think it’s too late. I saw some last night at the fair and considered buying them to swap but that would be cheating! lol
yikes! i gotta get going on finishing mine. it felt like i had so much time a short bit ago…
Seriously thinking about it if I can get all my bracelets done in time! I love to do the wrap version like Petals and Sunshine above but wasn’t sure if that was fancy enough for this swap π Good to know it counts! Hope I can get them done in time – I’ve got one done so far, LOL!
Awwww i would have loved too!! I love bracelets, but i know i can’t get them done in time. Hopefully you do one next year!!
I wish I found out about this sooner! π Maybe another time! I really have been wanting to make some to relive my junior high days!
